Creating the hook :

I have worked in sales and marketing for many years. I have also studied the craft of writing. I have written stage plays, short films and articles, as well as countless commercial documents including brochures, blogs and business letters. Whatever the document, understanding its context within the wider project is the key to producing targeted, impactful writing; in my marketing agency role I devised and implemented entire campaigns - copywriting was an important ingredient but it wasn't the whole meal. So I understand the role that copywriting plays in a campaign and I don't start to write until I know that I am adding the right flavour.
